Step 1: One-on-One Consultation

This required first step gives you an opportunity to ask questions, share what you’ve been experiencing, and determine whether our care is the right fit for your needs. During this consultation, Dr. Brian will review your concerns, discuss possible next steps, and provide an estimate for any recommended testing if appropriate. Depending on your needs, he may recommend moving forward with a Comprehensive Health Assessment or suggest another path that better supports where you are. Every recommendation is personalized based on the information gathered during your appointment.

Step 2: Schedule Your Upcoming Assessment and Complete Onboarding

Once you’ve completed your consultation and you and Dr. Brian have determined that our office is the right fit, the next step is to schedule your Comprehensive Health Assessment. Before that appointment, you’ll complete your intake forms through the patient portal, gather any recent medical records or lab results, and take time to organize your health history. This helps Dr. Brian better understand your full picture and prepare for a more thorough, personalized assessment.

Step 3: Comprehensive Health Assessment

During this virtual appointment, Dr. Brian takes a deeper look at your health history, current concerns, symptoms, goals, and previous experiences with care. This is your opportunity to share what has worked, what hasn’t, and what you’re hoping to better understand about your health. Using the information gathered so far, Dr. Brian will discuss any final lab recommendations, review pricing details, and outline the next steps in your care. This assessment helps create a clearer, more personalized plan based on your needs, goals, and the bigger picture of your health.

Step 4: Complete Recommended Lab Testing

After your Comprehensive Health Assessment, our team will help coordinate any recommended lab testing and make sure you have the instructions you need. Depending on your testing plan, labs may be completed at a local draw facility or through convenient in-home testing options. This step provides valuable information that can be reviewed alongside your symptoms, health history, and assessment findings. Together, these details help Dr. Brian better understand your health patterns and prepare for your personalized care plan.

Step 5: In-Depth Report

Once your consultation, intake forms, Comprehensive Health Assessment, and lab results have been reviewed, Dr. Brian brings the information together in an in-depth report. This report is designed to help you understand key patterns, priorities, and areas that may need support. You’ll review a clear, personalized plan with practical next steps based on your symptoms, health history, goals, and lab findings.

Step 6: Begin Your Personalized Wellness Plan

With a clearer understanding of your symptoms, health history, and lab findings, you can begin putting your personalized plan into action. This may include targeted supplement support, nutrition changes, lifestyle adjustments, and other recommendations designed to support your body’s needs. This step is about making realistic, intentional changes over time. Each part of your plan is designed to help support your health goals and build a stronger foundation for long-term wellness.

Step 7: Ongoing Guidance

During follow-up appointments and check-in calls, we’ll review your progress, discuss any new updates, and see how your personalized plan is working for you. This is an opportunity to talk through changes you’ve noticed, questions that have come up, and any challenges with supplements, nutrition, or lifestyle adjustments. Ongoing support helps your plan stay responsive to your needs so you can continue moving forward with clarity, confidence, and personalized guidance.

A Few Helpful Notes Before You Begin

Starting care with LifeLogic doesn't mean you need to have everything figured out ahead of time. Your first consultation is designed to help clarify where you are, what you’ve already tried, and what next steps may make sense.

GETTING STARTED

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have recent bloodwork before booking?

No. You do not need recent bloodwork before your first consultation. If you have labs from the past year, they may be helpful to share, but they are not required to begin.

What happens during the initial consultation?

Your initial consultation gives you an opportunity to share your symptoms, health concerns, goals, and questions with Dr. Brian. This visit helps determine whether LifeLogic Functional Wellness Care is the right fit and what next steps may be recommended.

Why is the Comprehensive Health Assessment scheduled separately?

The Comprehensive Health Assessment allows Dr. Brian to take a deeper look at your health history, symptoms, previous care experiences, lifestyle, goals, and any lab information available. Scheduling this separately gives both you and Dr. Brian time to prepare for a more thorough review.

When are labs completed?

Labs are typically completed after your consultation and Comprehensive Health Assessment, once Dr. Brian has determined which testing may be most appropriate for your needs. This helps avoid unnecessary testing and allows the lab plan to be more personalized.

What is the In-Depth Report?

The In-Depth Report is where Dr. Brian brings together your consultation, intake forms, health history, symptoms, goals, and lab findings. You’ll review key patterns, priorities, and personalized next steps for your wellness plan.

Is ongoing support required?

Ongoing support is not required for everyone, but it can be helpful as your plan develops. Follow-up appointments and check-in calls give you time to ask questions, review progress, and make personalized adjustments as your needs change.

Are visits virtual?

Yes. LifeLogic Functional Wellness Care offers virtual visits, so you can meet with Dr. Brian from the comfort of your home.

Can I do a phone call instead of a video call?

Yes. If video is not convenient, your virtual appointment can be completed by phone instead. Just let our team know your preference ahead of time so we can make the appointment as smooth and comfortable as possible.

How do I know which appointment to book first?

New patients always begin with an initial consultation. This first step helps determine whether our care is the right fit and what next steps may be appropriate.

Can I still book an appointment if I live in a different time zone or outside the U.S.?

Yes. Because our wellness care is virtual, patients in different time zones can schedule appointments using our online booking system. The scheduler allows you to view availability in your local time zone.

If you live outside the U.S. or have questions about scheduling, lab testing, or whether our services are the right fit for your needs, please contact our office at 864-406-3300 and our team will be happy to help.

Is there a mobile app available for the patient portal, Jane?

Yes. Jane offers a mobile app that allows patients to manage appointments, view upcoming appointment details, join virtual appointments, pay balances, and reply to secure messages from the office.

The app can be helpful if you prefer to manage your appointments from your phone. For setup instructions and more details, please visit Jane’s mobile app help guide.

What is your cancellation policy?

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you provide as much notice as possible so that time may be offered to another patient.

For consultations, follow-up appointments, check-in calls, and standard or extended visits, please provide at least 1 hour’s notice to cancel or reschedule.

For Comprehensive Health Assessments and In-Depth Report appointments, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. These appointments require a larger block of dedicated time, and additional notice gives our team a better opportunity to offer that time to another patient.

If the required notice is not provided, or if an appointment is missed, a cancellation fee equal to half the visit price will be charged to the card on file.
